Lattice Government Services has an ongoing commitment to supporting our country's Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) defense mission. Working with various agencies in the Federal government LGS provides policy, analytical, and engineering services that assist in protecting our warfighters and citizens.
CBRNE
is a common acronym within the Department of
Defense (DoD) and Department of Homeland
Security (DHS) for Chemical, Biological,
Radiological, Nuclear, and High Explosive
threats. These threats can be purposeful,
as with a terrorist attack, or
unintentional, as with a natural disaster or
industrial accident, and present an equal
risk to both military and non-military
personnel alike. In many cases, these
threats are colorless, odorless, and may not
be recognized for days following exposure.
LGS is working with the DoD and other
Government Agencies on advanced solutions
that detect and track CBRNE threats using
specialized sensors and Command, Control,
Communications, Computers, Intelligence,
Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR)
platforms.
LGS holds prime
contracts with the Space and Naval Warfare
Systems Command (SPAWAR), Space and Naval
Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC-Pacific),
and U.S. Army related to CBRNE platform
design, development, test, deployment,
management, and support. Through these
contract vehicles, LGS delivers subject
matter expertise throughout the DoD, helping
to keep our troops and Allied Coalition
partner nations safe. LGS personnel are the
world’s leading experts in CBRNE
technologies, serving in Director level
positions as Trusted Agents within the DoD.
At SPAWAR, LGS
provides technical support services to the
Joint Project Manager Information System (JPM
IS) family of products, which include the
Joint Warning and Reporting Network (JWARN),
Joint Effects Model (JEM), and Joint
Operational Effects Federation (JOEF), along
with other specialized platforms. JPM IS
represents the state-of-the-art in
reporting, modeling and tracking, and
associated consequence management of CBRNE
releases. Under this tasking, LGS provides
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) design,
development, and deployment, data
management, policy and standards
development, integration and test, and
support services for advanced Science and
Technology endeavors in the CBRNE field.
At SSC-Pacific,
LGS provides engineering, research,
development, and support services to JPM IS
platforms, in addition to supporting DHS and
general Anti-Terrorism/ Force Protection
(AT/FP) efforts. LGS personnel provide
assistance and management to the Software
Support Activity (SSA) for JPM IS and serve
as Technical Leads for a variety of JPM IS
platforms.
Supporting the
U.S. Army Edgewood Chemical Biological
Center (ECBC), LGS provides a variety of
acquisition, engineering, logistics,
business process improvement, and quality
assurance services. Company personnel work
within the Engineering Directorate,
Assembled Chemical Weapons Assessment (ACWA)
Program, and serve with the Program Manager,
Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical (NBC)
Defense Systems. LGS is responsible for all
configuration management, inspection,
failure analysis, and training support of
both the Joint Biological Point Detection
System (JBPDS) and the Biological Integrated
Detection System (BIDS) platforms deployed
within the DoD.
